What Makes Our School Unique?
Granbery Elementary was originally built in 1964 with ten classrooms, a library, cafeteria, and other support areas. Since that time, there have been 21 classrooms added to our building, along with a multi-purpose room. Over the years, Granbery has maintained a high level of student achievement. Our competent and experienced staff believes in providing a challenging learning environment where students are actively engaged in the learning process. Parents and business partners work with us to ensure a strong, vital link with the home and community.
Our highly trained faculty places a strong emphasis on reading, writing, and math. In addition, we stress the performing arts, appreciation of different cultures, and environmental education where children learn to care for and respect life. Basic values of self-reliance, cooperation, caring, and responsibility promote self-esteem and success.
Granbery is truly a wonderful place to work and learn. It is an honor and a privilege to serve this amazing school community. |
